Express Avenue is the second largest mall in South India, built with the idea of 'shopper-tainment' in mind, and this green building constructed on 11 acres of land has a lot of architectural splendor.

This has 4 floors of retail space including a hotel and corporate offices. The retail area of 9,00,000 sqft houses 210 top-notch national and international brands. The mall has plenty of drive-in space as well as ample car park running up to 5,00,000 sqft.

There are 3 parking lots in the basement which can comfortably fit up to 2000 vehicles. Constructed at a value of 750 crores, it houses a luxury food court and multiplex.

The 50,000 sqft food court called EA Garden has 25 counters with various options for food and beverage. That's not everything, on the entertainment front - Satyam Cinemas' redefines the cinema experience with a total of 1,600 seats in a 40,000 sq. ft. expansive eight-screen multiplex.

The mall has six atriums built to meet global standards, with a height of no less than 75 feet each. The atrium areas allow an advantage of natural light to access the common area.

It is covered with tensile fabric which is an environmentally friendly medium and offers a combination of daytime translucency and night-time luminosity which gives a magical feeling of being outdoors. The atrium center is shrouded in the glass.

Buildings can take up just 3.57 acres of a total of 11 acres. The remaining was made available for car parking, driveways, and landscaping.

The mall has 26 lifts, 34 escalators, and 4 travelers in total. Having realized the need for open areas in the midst of concrete buildings, the project has ensured mall-hoppers can enjoy the luxury of a large open area in the heart of town.

It is built in such a way that 10-story buildings surround the mall. One building is going to be the corporate block, the other the hotel.
