Creative Mango Drinks with Fruit and Herbs

The setting sun is at four p.m. The fan hasn't been moving, the heat is not moving, and the fridge has no exciting. Well, most of us just take a bottle of drink and go. However, if you make your own glass, it only takes five minutes. It's also much fresher-tasting.

A sachet of tang mango is a good place to begin. It is fast and easy to do. Add some new ingredients and it begins to taste like a café drink.

So Why Mix Fruit & Herbs?

Mango is sweet, strong. It requires an opposite force to counteract it. Lemon adds sharpness. Mint adds a refreshing sensation. Basil gives a light, aromatic flavor. Fresh fruit provides the body and colour to the glass. They are used together to layer up a simple beverage. The first taste is sweet, the second is fresh and the third is tangy.

Here are three simple ideas that you can try at home.

1. Mango Lemon Mint Cooler

It's ideal for a hot afternoon.

You will need:

* 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice

* 1 tall glass of cold water

* Lemon juice (1/2 lemon)

* 6 to 8 mint leaves

* Ice cubes

How to make it:

*  Gently crush the leaves of the mint in the glass.

*  Pour in the powder and some water. Stir until smooth.

* Add the rest of the water and lemon juice.

* Add ice, and stir again.

2. Sip With Mango Basil Orange Fizz

That is quite an unusual place for basil. It is surprisingly good with mango.

You will need:

*  3 tablespoons of tang mango powder

* ½ cup of cold water

* ½ glass of cold soda

* 5 sweet basil leaves

* 2 thin orange slices

How to make it:

*  Add cold water to the powder.

* Scoop basil leaves and add to.

*  Add orange slices and ice.

* Add the soda at the end, gradually.

It will have a short fizz time, so serve it immediately!

 3. Mango Pineapple Mint Punch

Looking to host some extra visitors? Make this in a jug.

You will need:

*  6 tablespoons of tang mango powder

* 1 litre cold water

*  1 cup chopped pineapple

*  Two or three mint leaves.

*  A few lemon slices

Dissolve in water before using. Add fruit, mint and lemon. Cool for 30 minutes. The pineapple melts down a bit and the jug sweetens on its own. Serve in a tall glass with a mint sprig on top. It is a favorite of children and many adults will say “please play it again”.

Small Tips You Can Use To Make Better Drinks.

There are a number of small habits that add up significantly:

* Bruise herbs gently. Tearing them too hard turns them bitter.

* Do not put the soda in until the end, to keep it fizzing.

*  Cool the water and fruit prior to using.

* Use less powder to begin with. There is no end to the amount you can add.

*  Remove pulp if desired by guests.

*  Taste and then adjust lemon.

Essential To Stock Up On Food Items Without All The Stress.

The majority of these ingredients are commonplace. However, mint, basil and fresh lemons are easily used up. For those of you who are short of time, online grocery shopping can save you a trip. Instamart, and other applications, bring herbs, fruits, soda and ice to your door.

Browse the pack sizes before ordering. Don't buy herbs that you will not use this week, as they become wilted quickly. Even a small pot of mint in the balcony helps! It is quick growing and cost-effective.

Make your first glass of wine today!

No special tools or uncommon ingredients are required. Just a handful of leaves and some fruit and a packet of tang mango will suffice. Start with the lemon mint cooler. Then see if you can get basil or pineapple.

In no time at all, you will have your very own signature glass. Choose a recipe this weekend and cook it! I promise your next hot afternoon will be a lot better.
